In connection with Kurama Kobo

Bring what you are good at to Kurama.

Making things. Teaching. Trying something new with local materials. We want Kurama Kobo to be a place where people like that come together.

Ways you might get involved

Sell your work here

If you would like to sell your own products at Kurama Kobo, tell us what you make and the story behind it.

Teach and share

If you would like to run a workshop or a class, let's talk about sharing what you do with the people who come to Kurama.

Make something together

If you want to try a product or a project using the materials of Kurama, tell us what you have in mind.

The house where it will happen

The ground floor will be a shop and cafe, and the upper floor a space for hands-on work, large enough for about fifteen people at a time. The open garden at the back is intended as a place to eat and drink outdoors.

We will publish the areas available, the terms and the costs on this page once the workshop is closer to completion. Until then we will talk with anyone who gets in touch individually, once we have heard what you have in mind.

If you are interested in working in Kurama

We are not recruiting at the moment. If you are interested, tell us the kind of work you would like to do and your background. We will get in touch again when we begin hiring.

Start with what you would like to try.

When you write to us, please tell us as much as you can about the kind of enquiry, an outline of your work or products, and your preferred timing. If you have a website or social media we can look at, a link is helpful too.
